How Does it Work?
The School Care Project is our local community School Grant program! In 2023, we will be donating $10,000 between two schools in our local community to support their projects that fall under our CARE Program framework; Community Awareness and Respecting our Environment.
School Care Project finalists for 2024 include:
1. Bexley Public School – Edible Garden Showcasing Indigenous Artwork
The school aims to create a playground that blends with the natural environment and incorporate richness of indigenous knowledge.
2. Sydney Technical High School – Yarning Circle & Bush Garden
Aimed at honoring the Indigenous history while fostering School Community engagement.
3. Taren Point Public School – Sensory Garden
An outdoor space for children to enjoy that supports physical and mental health through the senses of sight, touch, sound and smell.
To vote for your favourite project or school, simply spend $15 in Zen or Mike’s to receive a POS ticket with a QR code printed. Once scanned, the QR code will re-direct o a voting page where there is the chance to select one (1) school they believe should win.
Voting closes Sunday 12th May 2024.
